To enter the Republic of Korea, you should have valid passport (at least 6 months validity) and Korean Visa. For more information, the AFSUMB 2018 secretariat recommends you to contact Korean Embassy in each country to ask about necessary documents for Visa issuance. It is highly recommended to apply for a Visa at least 1 month before you depart to the Republic of Korea. And please visit the (Visa information) of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Korea to find out your country has signed a Visa exception agreement.

We would like to inform you that the Organizing Committee will be pleased to provide an official invitation letter to those who need it for Visa application to enter the Republic of Korea. The Letter is not a commitment on the part of the organizer to provide any financial support. This request will be processed as a part of the online registration system.
The official invitation letter, to be used for application of visa, will be available ONLY to those who have completed the registration payment.

Invitation Letter at the AFSUMB 2018 website

Please access 'My Page' with your registered ID (e-mail) and Password and click on ‘Invitation Letter’ to print out a copy of the original invitation letter in color.

Notarized Invitation Letter

If you need to receive a notarized invitation letter for visa application, you may request it to the Secretariat ( no later than March 23(Fri), 2018.

Upon your request, the notarized letter will be sent by airmail within a week after confirmation of your full payment. Additionally, USD 50 will be charged for the notary service and EMS, and you will be required to make the payment by wire transfer.* Please check with the Korean Embassy in your country on whether you need a notarized letter of invitation for visa issuance.
